They write their own lyrics, design and build their own instrumental backdrops, and work out their own vocal arrangements. Their music is wild, pungent, hard-hitting, uninhibited...and personal. By exhausting this method, they're able to ensure complete originality at all stages of the process. Although so many people suggest (without clear definition) that The Westminster Abbey has a trans- Atlantic style, their only real influence has been the unique brand of music that emerged during the sixties counterculture.

Every song has its own face, and the production must mirror it. With this in mind, Josef and The Westminster Abbey set out to capture sounds and vibes in their most natural form. By applying minimalism, they did just that! All their recordings are presented as-is to express the dynamic emotion of the moment.
