🚨ANNOUNCEMENT ALERT🚨 - Now that we have your attention, we’re happy to announce that we’re re-releasing the Humble Beginnings "Overanalyzing the Manifestations of Unconscious” EP on July 13th and Lane Meyer's “Stories for the Big Screen” on July 20th. If you lived through late 90s pop-punk (and grew up in the north east), you might be familiar with these bands.
If not, it’s time to learn! Humble Beginnings was where Gabe from Midtown/Cobra Starship got his start and Lanemeyer was one of Brian Fallon’s [The Gaslight Anthem] first bands.
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE (there always is)...
We’re also releasing an exclusive 20th anniversary 12” vinyl of Lanemeyer's Stories for the Big Screen. The pre-order goes live Monday July 9th in the I Surrender Records webstore ( isurrenderrecords.merchdirect.com ), and is limited to 250 green vinyl. Side A will include all 7 songs and Side B has a custom etching with the lyrics “God I Miss You, God I Miss This Place” on it.
Honestly, we’re just happy the world will finally be able to enjoy two of our favorite releases for the first time ever digitally.
p.s. if you live near Teaneck, NJ, catch both bands live for the first time in a long time on July 21st at Debonair Music Hall. It’s one reunion show you won’t want to miss!
